Literacy Media

Literacy Media offers an engaging and educational experience for students by involving them in the creation of news podcasts or videos.  This program enhances media skills as well as fostering teamwork and creativity.  This dynamic approach not only improves students' communication and technical skills, but also builds a strong sense of community and collaboration.

Students in the Literacy Media program are actively engaged in producing creative video content that highlights upcoming events at Bemis Elementary School. Through hands-on experience, they are learning to plan, write, record, and edit videos. Using Canva’s user-friendly video editing tools, students are developing their own creative video presentations, showcasing their skills in podcasting, design, and digital communication. This project not only enhances their technical abilities, but also fosters collaboration, creativity, and confidence in presenting their ideas effectively.
